Search features

• Search by keywords on the entry point “picture” : Search for files by keywords, same as the search field in the user interface‍
• Temporal filtering : Search for files between two specific dates (for example, between January 1, 2025 and May 1, 2025)

Technical improvements

Improvement of status changes triggered by public URLs: statuses are better applied when there are a lot of calls in parallel.

Mirakl connector - Advanced integration and enhancements

Grand Shooting offers a Mirakl connector that fully automates the loading of catalog data and their associated visuals. This integration is based on flexible and configurable recovery criteria.

The available recovery criteria are:

• Product update date : Synchronization based on temporal changes
• Available in the Mirakl catalog : Import according to the availability of the product
• Combined criteria : Possibility to mix several parameters simultaneously (new!)

Improvements are made to the connector:

• Hybrid setup : Simultaneous combination of catalog criteria and update date for data loading
• Broadcast : Improvement of the distribution of files in the case where the view codes of a reference are not continuous.
• Custom mapping : Possible configuration of the mapping to perfectly match the specifications of your graphic charter

This evolution of the Mirakl connector reinforces the automation of processes.

Marketplace module - New advanced editing option

Grand Shooting is enriching its Marketplace module with a new retouching customization feature to preserve the natural shadows of the products photographed.

• Preserving shadows : Option to maintain the shadows present in the original image during the editing process
• Advanced customization : The delivery in services with or without shade is configured according to the product categories in the specifications.
• Natural rendering : Preservation of the authentic appearance and visual depth of the products

Fixes

Several fixes and enhancements have been deployed to optimize the user experience and resolve identified issues.

• ‍Production templates: Cropping settings and the list of available tags are now automatically saved in production templates.‍
• Renaming in validation: Folder names update automatically when exports are configured to use catalog data upon a manual reference change.‍
• Thumbnail generation for raw files: The thumbnail creation module now displays default thumbnails for raw files (formats .eip, .raw, etc.).‍
• Brief: PDF import is now functional. You can upload your brief in PDF format from the production settings.‍
• External retouch workflow: Stage 1 filters are operational in cases of connected rejections with FTP transfers to external retouching partners.‍
• Guest access: Deployment of the search functionality for guest access on the Live and Validation screens.

The search has been redesigned. This optimization allows a faster display of data and improves the responsiveness of the user interface, especially on the Live and validation screens.

Intelligent management of technical errors during exports

Grand Shooting has set up a management system for technical errors that may occur during the generation of exports. In case of failure, the platform automatically restarts the generation of the image concerned with each new export, without overloading the database.

Automatic recovery mechanism:

• Smart detection : Automatic identification of technical errors
• Optimized retry : Targeted regeneration of failed images
• Database protection : Avoidance of system overload
• Continuity of service : Maintaining the availability of exports

Technical errors can have 3 reasons:

• Temporary platform errors : Occasional infrastructure problems
• Corrupt files : Damaged or illegible input images
• Setup issues : Incorrect or incompatible export settings

Optimizing performance by reducing notifications

The notification system has been reworked in order to improve the overall performance and response times of the application. Previously, every user action triggered a notification to the browser, which could slow down the interface and impact the user experience.

We have reduced the load of messages sent in order to ensure smoother navigation while maintaining the reliability of the data displayed.

Optimizing the cropping of PNG images

Grand Shooting has improved its export system to allow the cropping of PNG files without any format conversion. This technical improvement preserves the native integrity of the PNG file by maintaining its original transparency.

• Transparency Management : Automatic extension of transparent areas in case the frame extends beyond the image.
