Usage

Production information has 4 main advantages:

1. Centralize data in Grand Shooting
   All production users can consult and complete this information from a single location.
2. Enrich search
   The information entered feeds the search filters of the Media Library. For example, by searching for a model's name, you will find all the files where this person appears.
3. Feed file metadata
   This data can be automatically integrated into the metadata of your exported media
4. Connect your systems
   If you use the export module, this information can be automatically transmitted to your external tools (DAM, PIM, e-commerce site). Feel free to consult our API documentation.

To automatically feed the file metadata, the configuration takes place in the Alerts and workflow > Exported file metadata section. You can enter in the desired field the variables to add in the form {$info.Model} for the field named Model, {$info.Photographer} for the Photographer field, etc...)

Entering Information

• From a Production, click on Settings in the left sidebar
• Select Information
• Complete the available fields (Photographer, Model, Stylist, Rights Expiry Date)

This information can be entered by all production users, at any time. If the fields are completed before generating the exports, they will need to be restarted.

Customizing Information Fields

The default fields do not meet your needs? You can adapt them:

• Click on the Edit link next to the Information title
• Add, delete, or rename fields according to your needs
• Save your changes

To automate this customization, use the Production templates (available in the app settings for administrators). Your customized fields will automatically appear in all new Productions created with this template.
