Alerts are designed to detect potential issues before files are distributed. Although they are not blocking for Approval, they signal anomalies that may affect the online posting on the e-commerce site.
Alert Configuration
Accessing Settings
Alert configuration is done in the production settings > Alerts and workflow, accessible only to the production's producer.
Types of Available Alerts
Several types of alerts can be configured to automatically detect anomalies:
Unexpected Views: Signals files that are not planned in the specifications
Non-compliant Format: Detects technical specifications not met (weight, dimensions, ICC profile, etc.)
Renaming Error: Identifies exports set up with missing catalog values
Value Missing from Export Dictionary: Spots non-existent matches in the configured dictionary
No Look Information: Signals the absence of look information in the Live
Technical Export Error: This automatic alert detects malfunctions during exports
Viewing Alerts in Approval
Alerts are easily identifiable in the approval interface:
Thumbnails outlined in red: Immediate visual indication of the files concerned
Alert detail: Precise reason for the alert visible in the file zoom
Filtering: Ability to filter files with the See Alerts Only filter
Resolving Alerts
Unexpected Views: Contact the producer to determine if this additional view should be added to the specifications.
Non-compliant Format: Request reprocessing by the post-production team to correct the technical parameters.
Error in Renaming - Incomplete Catalog: Populate the catalog with the missing data or use the Manual Renaming feature
Value Missing from Export Dictionary: Proceed to manual renaming via the dedicated feature.
No Look Information: Feed the looks into the Live and then relaunch the exports after modification (if you do not have access to the export page, ask the producer to do it).
Technical Export Error: Exports must be relaunched. If that does not work, check the compatibility of the uploaded files with Grand Shooting.

Alerts do not block approval or distribution, but can cause problems when going live. It is recommended to address them before the final broadcast to ensure optimal integration on the e-commerce site.
