Accessible from the Personal Space, the configuration of Notifications determines which actions in GS trigger the sending of email Notifications.
The triggers for Notifications cover the major events in a workflow: Catalog updates, file uploads, status changes in the file workflow, error alerts (for example, on an FTP transfer).
Notifications can be triggered by actions initiated by me. For example, if I am responsible for files in a Live stage, I might want to receive alerts if some files are improperly named.
Notifications can also be triggered by actions performed by other users on the Production. For example, if I work in Post-production, I might want to receive alerts when media are rejected at the Approval stage.
