By default, GS offers a list of predefined columns in the Catalog that each account uses according to its needs. Only the “REF” column is mandatory.

Some clients may not find what they need in the standard columns. They can then create Extra Fields to extend the Catalog.

[[gsHeadsUp]]Administrator rights on the account are required to create Extra Fields.

An Extra Field can have one of the following types:

  • Single-line Text
  • Multi-line Text
  • Number
  • Date
  • Value Table

Extra Fields can be attached:

  • to the References in the Catalog (useful for adding attributes to References)
  • to the EAN codes of the References (for example, to add the size of the Reference variant or a warehouse location where the variant is stored)
  • to Articles in a Batch within Logistics (this may be necessary to record identifiers and statuses transmitted by an external logistics system integrated with GS)
