Historically, Shooting Methods were used to differentiate between types of photo shoots, such as a still-life packshot production versus a mannequin shoot.
By extension, Shooting Methods are now used to distinguish between teams within a GS account.
Within the Specifications, the Shooting Methods allow for the application of specific media configurations.
When you create a new Production, you choose one of the Shooting Methods from your account; GS then deduces, for each Reference and its associated Product Category, the expected views.
For a Reference associated with the above Category, a Production linked with the Method “worn” expects 5 views, whereas a Production linked with the Method “packshot” expects 2 views.
