The retouchers have received an email inviting them to synchronize their 2 work directories:
- The directory where the Live photos appear (read-only rights).
- The directory to deposit the edited images (write rights).
The Grand Shooting application will then assist them in focusing their attention on important points:
- Are there any urgent photos?
- Which photos have comments?
- What else needs to be done?
The left column lists all the images from the Live, and when available, the edited images as well. The exclamation mark symbol /!\ indicates that the photo is urgent. To access comments and annotations, simply select an image in the left column and then click on the thumbnail in the right column.
As the edited images are saved in the synchronized directory, the screen updates automatically.
During this editing step, your client doesn't see anything. They don't have access to the history of treatments performed on the images.
At any time, you can trigger exports (the next step of the workflow) to push the edited images to the validation contact sheet. You can choose to wait until all images are edited or export the first edited images.
