Publish validated files to a FTP or Webdav server : Grand Shooting sends files with validated status that have not already been sent to the FTP or webdav server (published status).
Files in For approval, Rejected or Ignored status are not publish.
FTP connector settings
Settings are accessible to account administrators via the personal area.
Click on "FTP connector" or "Webdav connector" and "Add a connection".
It will be valid for productions created after the connection has been set up.
Please fill in the form:
URL | FTP / webdav server connection address |
Login / password | FTP / webdav server login credentials |
Port | Specify the server port |
SFTP connection | Check this box to activate the SFTP protocol |
Folder | Naming convention used to create folders into which files will be transferred. You can insert variables to make folders dynamic: in this case, Grand Shooting retrieves the information loaded in the catalog to create the subfolder. |
Include folders |
The files to be transmitted are sometimes organized in sub-folders. Technically, it may be possible to send 2 files with the same name from 2 different sub-folders. In such cases, we recommend that you check this box. The file names will then be prefixed with the folder tree. |
Exports | Select the export(s) for which the files are to be sent to the FTP / webdav server |
Frequency | Select the days of the week you want to publish files. The default setting is midnight (0h and 0 min). You can choose to publish every hour or at specific times by checking the hours and minutes (maximum 2 per hour). |
Then click on Save.
It will be valid for productions created from the day the FTP connector is set up.
Here is an example:
The WEB export files are sent to an IN folder, then to WEB, then to a sub-folder bearing the name of the reference collection.
Broadcasting starts every hour on the hour, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Modify or delete a FTP connection
Once the settings have been made, a summary table appears.
Click on Modify to update the information, such as your password if it changes regularly.
Please note: it is not possible to modify exports once a connection has been set up. If necessary, please create a new FTP connection.
The changes you make will affect the productions on which this FTP connection was active. However, files already published will not be resent.
The delete button is also available.
The creation date appears: the visuals shown belong to productions with a date greater than the date on which this FTP connection is set up.
In our example, this FTP connection will be triggered for productions created after July 08, 2024.
Please note:
This FTP connector cannot be configured for installations requiring an SSH key or certificate.
